PREPARATION
FINE VANILLA STARS
Beat the butter, 125g sugar, vanilla baking and cream.
Knead in the flour, starch, baking powder and salt.
Wrap the dough in foil and chill for about 2 hours. Roll out the dough about 5mm thick on a floured surface. cut out figures.
Cut out the center of the cookies with small cutters.
Place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper.
Coloring sugar: Put 25g sugar and 1/2 tube color (red, green, yellow and blue) in each of four bowls, stir.
Fill the cookie holes with colored sugar. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven at 175°C for approx. 12 minutes. Leave to cool and decorate with colored icing sugar.
