  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas: level 3 / fan: 160°C). Butter a _cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ muffin pan and lightly dust with flour or line with paper cups.

  2. Measure flour, cornflour, baking powder, sugar, salt and vanilla and place in a mixing bowl. Add soft butter in pieces and work in with your fingertips or with a hand mixer until pea-sized crumbs form.

  3. Using the hand mixer, stir the eggs and milk into the flour mixture in three batches, each for 15 seconds.

  4. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin tins; they should be about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes and then allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.

  5. For the frosting, put the softened butter in a large mixing bowl, add half the powdered sugar and the milk and mix with the hand mixer on the highest setting until smooth and smooth. Then slowly add the rest of the powdered sugar until the desired consistency is reached. Color the frosting as you like with baking and food coloring. Spread onto the well-cooled cupcakes with a knife.

  6. Decorate with sugar sprinkles and personalize with chocolate letters and numbers.
